Join East Side Tribe and Rabbi Jessica Shimberg for some sweet communal zen at the confluence of Jewish wisdom and nature’s beauty. Taking advantage of our local natural surroundings, we will meet near the Shelby Bottoms Nature Center on the 2nd (and sometimes 3rd) Shabbat afternoon of each month (see below for full schedule through June 2023).

And we will end by making Havdalah. Havdalah means distinction/separation; it is a brief, multi-sensory Jewish ritual that distinguishes between a day of rest and renewal (Shabbat) and the six days of creativity and work, our weekly Jewish cycle of time.
Things to bring include: a water bottle, appropriate shoes and clothing for the season, whatever you need to be comfortable.
