Repro Shabbat Oneg & Havdalah

February 14 at 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm

Repro Shabbat is an annual celebration that honors the Jewish value of reproductive freedom. Let’s get together for dessert and discussion and celebrate Havdalah to close Shabbat Mishpatim.

Reproductive freedom is a Jewish value! Judaism is grounded in a deep appreciation for life, which includes profound concern for the life of a pregnant person. Repro Shabbat takes place annually on Parshat Mishpatim, the Torah portion that contains the verses commonly referenced as the foundation of Judaism’s approach to reproductive health, rights, and justice. This program is part of a network of programming across our nation and the world that is publicized by the National Council for Jewish Women and Rabbis for Repro.

You are invited to join Rabbi Shimberg and other spiritual seekers for this sweet evening of Torah, truth-telling, and a taste of the week to come. This offering is part of a vast celebration of Judaism’s teachings on reproductive justice across this country and the world.
